Man who skipped trial arrested in Albuquerque

An Oregon man who failed to return to court in mid-March for his trial in Lucas County Common Pleas Court on multiple felony charges was arrested Monday in Albuquerque, N.M., authorities said.

Scott Matthew Curns, 33, whose last known address was in the 1100 block of Mambrino Road, was being held in the Albuquerque jail pending extradition to Lucas County.

Curns was convicted in-absentia in March for grand theft, theft, breaking and entering, tampering with records, tampering with evidence, and several bond violations.
