BRYAN A building that housed a Bryan electrical firm was destroyed Sunday night by fire.
Firefighters were called to the structure at 700 East Wilson St. at 8:27 p.m. and found that flames had burned through the roof of the one-story brick and steel warehouse occupied by Stratton Electric, Bryan fire Chief Jerry Manon said.
More than 40 firefighters from Bryan, Edgerton, and Montpelier fought the blaze.
The building, owned by Kevin and Cindra Stratton, was a total loss, the chief said, though he did not have a damage estimate yesterday. Two-thirds of the building s completely gone, he said.
The cause of the fire had not been determined last night. One Bryan firefighter was treated for dehydration; no one else was injured.
