Washington Township police seek leads on vandalism of vehicles

Washington Township police are seeking information about a vandalism spree Wednesday that damaged at least 15 vehicles.

The spree occurred between midnight and 6 a.m. in the areas of Andover and Stickney avenues and Raintree Village mobile home park.

Windows were smashed with a blunt object or window frames were pried to enter the vehicles, which were parked in driveways and on the street, police said.

Items such as compact discs, CD players, and change were stolen. A few items have been recovered. Police believe juveniles may be involved.
