Fire yesterday forced a South Toledo man to seek alternative housing on at least a temporary basis.
A mobile home at 3002 Airport Hwy., Lot 11, part of the Buckland-Statler park, caught fire about noon. Investigators attributed the cause to an electrical malfunction.
Occupant Dan Kimdell was being provided temporary housing by the American Red Cross, Battalion Fire Chief Eric Renz hofer said. Damage was estimated at $5,000, the chief said.
