E. Toledo man arrested for threatening woman
A 21-year-old East Toledo man was arrested yesterday for breaking a vehicle s window and making threats against the woman who owns the car, Perrysburg police said.
Jamie Lee Pacheco of Price Street was being held in the Wood County Justice Center for menacing by stalking, a felony, and criminal damaging, a misdemeanor. Bond was set at $21,250, and a court hearing is scheduled for tomorrow in Perrysburg Municipal Court.
Police responded about 4:15 a.m. to the Three Meadows Apartments parking lot in Perrysburg after witnesses reported a man had broken a window of a vehicle belonging to Megan Morris, 22, of Oregon. Further investigation revealed Mr. Pacheco allegedly had made several threats against Ms. Morris.
Mr. Pacheco was acquitted in August of murder, involuntary manslaughter, felonious assault, and vehicular vandalism in connection with the death of Dorothy Minggia, 42, who was killed Oct. 14, 2004, after a steel plate was dropped off a Norfolk Southern railroad overpass onto her car on South Ravine Parkway.
