Officials investigate fire at Cherry St. carryout

Toledo fire investigators believe a blaze that caused about $25,000 of damage to the Star Carry Out at 3139 Cherry St. early yesterday was intentionally set.

Firefighters responded to the store at 3:10 a.m. and found four tires burning on the roof of the building, said Battalion Chief Bill Sulewski.

He said the blaze remained under investigation yesterday.

The store was closed to customers as of yesterday afternoon.
