Information sought on attempted break-in

FINDLAY Police are looking for information about an attempted home invasion that occurred in the 1700 block of Cherry Lane Thursday.

About 6:15 a.m., a resident reported that he answered his doorbell and was met by two young men who showed him a handgun and threatened him.

The men said they planned to come inside and rob him, but he struggled with them near the front door and they fled.

The suspects were described as white, 16 to 20 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches, wearing black or dark-colored coats with hoods up.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers, 419-425-TIPS.
