Fremont man charged in store break-in

FREMONT A Fremont man who sheriff s deputies said broke into a religious-goods store was being held yesterday on a $15,000 cash bond.

Daniel Ruiz, 21, was arrested Thursday on an outstanding warrant before the break-in at B s Christian Bookstore on East State Street, just outside the city limits, was discovered. Deputies found a calling card belonging to the store while searching him for booking in the Sandusky County jail. They searched his home and found various items allegedly taken from the store.

Mr. Ruiz appeared yesterday in Fremont Municipal Court on one felony charge each of breaking and entering and theft.
