$25,000 reward offered in thefts of ATM machines

Toledo police are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program about several ATMs stolen in the area.

Police said a machine has been taken about every three months. Each one weighs more than 800 pounds. The most recent theft occurred at Fifth Third Field in downtown Toledo in late April. In a theft at the Toledo Zoo in December, a white van was used to haul away the ATM, police said.

The reward in the crimes is $25,000. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.

The Crime Stopper committee announced its latest rewards for tips in various cases, including murder, child pornography, and wanted fugitives. The rewards total about $4,500.

Those to receive rewards are callers B717, B860, B864, B876, B882, B883, B884, and B890. They are asked to contact the Crime Stopper program to collect their reward money.
