A central Toledo man was hurt seriously when he was punched on the face, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground outside his apartment building.

Walter Sneider, 59, of 240 21st St., was in critical condition yesterday in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center after the assault about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.
