A nine-count indictment was handed up yesterday by a Lucas County grand jury against a 71-year-old Sylvania Township man accused of molesting a teenage boy.
Gary Horton, of 3230 Centennial Rd., Lot 107, was indicted on eight counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
An affidavit filed in Lucas County Common Pleas Court said the 17-year-old victim told authorities that he was sexually abused numerous times at Mr. Horton's home over the last several years.
The teenager said some of the incidents occurred after Mr. Horton furnished him with alcoholic beverages and allowed him to watch pornography on a computer in the residence.
Township police searched the defendant's home earlier this month, seizing bottles of liquor, computer equipment, and pornographic DVDs.
An arraignment date for Mr. Horton has not been set.
