Nicholas A. Vassar, 25, of 201 Washington St., was charged with an outstanding warrant from Tiffin Municipal Court and with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Republic Police Department was assisted by the Seneca County Drug Task Force-METRICH Enforcement Unit.

Police Chief Randy Marfia said additional charges of possession of cocaine and Ecstasy, tampering with evidence, and permitting drug abuse are pending against Mr. Vassar and two other people.

The raid was conducted early Saturday by the village police department and members of the drug task force.

Chief Marfia and Sgt. Jake Demonte said marijuana, Ecstasy, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash were confiscated.
