A dozen people were arrested last night for participating in an illegal gambling game in Washington Township, and the three people running the game of Texas Hold em were charged with operating a gambling house.
The arrests came after a joint investigation into illegal gambling by the Washington Township and Toledo police departments. A search warrant was executed at 10:25 p.m. last night at 6204, 6216, and 6218 Summit St. Property seized include $2,211 in money, poker chips, cards, and gaming rules.
