5 arrested in Fostoriaat sobriety check point

FOSTORIA Law enforcement officers stopped 142 vehicles and arrested five people for drunken driving Friday night at a sobriety check point.

The multi-agency operation, which ran from 10 p.m. until midnight at South Road east of Union Street in Fostoria, included city police, Seneca County sheriff s deputies, and the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Police set up a second check point in the city last night.
