Police seek information on missing girl

Toledo police are looking for a 12-year-old girl who they believe may have left home to see someone she met on the Internet.

Police said Danisha L. Macklin, of 1154 Pinebrook Pkwy., has been missing since Friday morning. The student at Reynolds Elementary was reported missing by her mother at 11:30 p.m. Friday, police said. Authorities said the youth had packed her belongings.

Sgt. Greg Smith police gathered information from a computer the girl was using at the home. A neighbor told police that the youth was last seen with man maybe in his late teens or early 20s, getting into a green vehicle.

Authorities said individuals with any information on the young Macklin should call police at 419-245-3142.
