A man robbed a bank branch in central Toledo yesterday morning of an undisclosed amount of money.
The man demanded money from a teller shortly after 9:15 a.m. at the National City Bank branch, 2470 Cherry St.
He was last seen on foot heading southeast through the parking lot with the money in a white plastic grocery bag, the Toledo office of the FBI said. No weapon was seen.
The robber was described as black; 25 to 30 years old; 5 feet, 10 inches to six feet tall, with a slim build and a partial or short beard.
He wore a black New York Yankees cap, black sunglasses, and a long-sleeve white T-shirt under a short-sleeve white T-shirt with red trim. He was seen with an Ace bandage on his right arm.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Toledo FBI at 419-243-6122 or the Toledo Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111. Authorities are offering a reward of up to $2,000.
