Toledo police are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program about an unsolved murder last year of a central-city man.
Eugene McMillian, 35, was found Oct. 2 shot in the head, thigh, and neck in an alley on Sylvan Avenue near West Bancroft Street, just a few blocks from the house where he lived with his sister, authorities said.
Police were sent to Sylvan and West Bancroft on a report of a man down. There also were reports of shots fired. Officers found the victim in the alley shortly before 5 a.m.
The victim lived on Fitchland Avenue and was known as "Boobie," his family said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
