Grandma of roaming 5-year-old faces charge

BOWLING GREEN A Bowling Green woman who was supposed to be watching her 5-year-old grandson was charged with child endangering after the boy was found riding his scooter in the middle of Campbell Hill Road, more than a half-mile from her Clough Street apartment.

Theresa Fry, 46, was cited after police received a call from a man who told officers he noticed the youngster riding a scooter in the street about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Ms. Fry reportedly was watching her grandson who was playing outside when he wandered away.
