West Toledo man indicted on 25 child-porn charges

A West Toledo man, who police said downloaded thousands of images of children in a state of nudity, masturbation, and engaging in sexual activity, was indicted yesterday by a Lucas County grand jury on 25 child pornography charges.

David Wilton, 35, of 5405 Fleet Rd. was indicted on 21 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and four counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material. Fifteen of the charges carry a maximum punishment of eight years in prison.

Mr. Wilton had not been arrested as of last night.

Mr. Wilton s computer contained more than 9,000 images and movies that were graphic in nature involving children. There are movies of young children and infants being raped by adults, Toledo police said.
