Authorities have charged a South Toledo man with felonious assault following the shooting of another man Saturday.
Shaun Mancini, 29, of 4126 South Detroit Ave. was being held in the Lucas County jail pending arraignment today in Toledo Municipal Court.
Torrion Clark, 29, of Toledo was admitted to the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly Medical College of Ohio Hospital, with shotgun wounds in his knees, Toledo police said. A hospital spokesman said yesterday that he had no information about a person by that name.
Responding to a report of a burglary in progress at the Mancini residence, detectives arrived about 6:55 p.m. and a short time later found the wounded Mr. Clark at South Detroit and Copland Boulevard, where Mr. Mancini is accused of shooting Mr. Clark after he chased him with a shotgun from the Mancini residence after an altercation there, police said.
