The house at 351 Boston Pl. near Fulton Street in central Toledo was briefly evacuated early Friday when it caught fire from a blaze at an house next door, authorities said.
Fire at a two-story house at 345 Boston was reported about 4 a.m., by which time all occupants escaped unhurt. Fire crews had the fire under control in about 40 minutes but not before it caused some damage to the 2 -story house next door, fire Lt. Larry Armstrong said.
Arson investigators were later called to the scene to determine what caused the fire, Lieutenant Armstrong said.
No damage estimate was available Friday morning.
