An East Toledo man was arrested yesterday and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, police said.
Harvey Heath, Jr., 22, of 121 Steel St., who is accused of robbing the Universal Carryout, 111 Starr Ave., on Feb. 13, was arrested at an apartment on Walbridge Avenue.
He was being held in the Lucas County jail pending his arraignment today in Toledo Municipal Court.
The robber fired a handgun into the ceiling and pointed the weapon at a clerk before fleeing with $819, according to police reports. He also is accused of assaulting a man and stealing his bicycle Dec. 23 at Mason and White streets.
