MONROE, Mich. A dead body that washed ashore near Detroit Edison s Fermi 2 nuclear power plant early Tuesday has been determined to be that of a man, Michigan State Police said Wednesday morning.
The body was discovered about 8:50 a.m. Tuesday.
The identity, and cause of death are pending an autopsy scheduled in Detroit Wednesday, police said.
The man had been dead for some time, officers said.
