A three-week-old boy was found unresponsive at a South Toledo residence yesterday and later died at Toledo Hospital, authorities said.
The death of Tyland Brown is being investigated by the Lucas County Coroner's Office and Toledo police, said Steve Kahle, a coroner's investigator.
Mr. Kahle said there were no obvious signs of foul play. He said authorities will know more after they conduct an autopsy, which is scheduled today.
Authorities responded to the 400 block of Southgate Circle Drive about 9 a.m. on a report of an unresponsive infant.
The boy was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 40 minutes later.
