Two Toledo firefighters were hurt yesterday while battling an arson fire at a vacant duplex at 663 Woodland Ave. in the central city, authorities said.
Mark Rajner and Mike Maraldo, whose injuries and how they occurred were not disclosed, were treated at Toledo Hospital.
Fire crews arrived at the duplex at 1:45 a.m. and found fire on the first floor. They brought the blaze under control in about 15 minutes, but not before it had spread to the second floor of the two-story wood frame structure, authorities said.
Damage was estimated at $15,000.
