Info on woman found dead in fire is sought

Toledo police are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program about a woman found dead Sept. 17 during a fire in a vacant house in the central city.

Lynette Reid, 40, of Toledo was found about 8:50 p.m. on a mattress in a closet on the second floor of the house at 811 Nesslewood Ave., near West Central Avenue. Ms. Reid's body was identified through the use of dental records.

The Lucas County Coroner's Office has not ruled on the cause of death.

The fire has been ruled suspicious. Damage was estimated at $20,000, authorities said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
