Police arrest 2 suspected of selling OxyContin
BOWLING GREEN Two Custar, Ohio, men were arrested Thursday for complicity to traffic in drugs for allegedly selling the prescription painkiller OxyContin in the Custar area.
Timothy Thompson, 54, and John DeSmith, 55, were arrested by Wood County sheriff s deputies, who said they found 22 OxyContin pills in the men s possession.
Investigators then searched the men s residence on State Rt. 281, where they reportedly found pills, suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an array of weapons.
Both men appeared yesterday in Bowling Green Municipal Court, where Judge Mark Reddin set bond at $40,000.
