Toledo police are seeking information through the Crime Stopper program about the slaying last month of 16-year-old Kantraylious Guy, who was found shot to death inside an Acklin Avenue house in the central city.
Officers investigating the death of the Scott High School junior said they heard of no sounds, strange cars, or unusual foot traffic Dec. 20 or 21 near the rental house at 544 Acklin Ave., where the teen was found dead the evening of Dec. 21.
Empty for at least a week at the time, the house had become a hangout for the teenager and some friends.
The teenager died from a single gunshot wound to the left side of his face, according to Dr. James Patrick, Lucas County coroner.
Anyone with information about the murder is asked to call Crime Stopper. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
