1 shot in East Toledo

Toledo police were investigating a shooting early Sunday in East Toledo.

According to fire department dispatchers, police received a call at 6:02 a.m. about a person shot in the 900 block of Kingston Avenue, near Earl and Oak streets.

The victim, who as of Sunday night remained unidentified by police, was transported to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, dispatchers said.
