$250,000 bond is set for suspect in rape of girl

Bond was set at $250,000 Thursday for a South Toledo man charged with raping a 14-year-old developmentally disabled girl.

Ricky Jamison, 49, of 4285 Keygate Drive, Apt. 103 was arrested Wednesday by the special victims’ unit and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. At his arraignment in Toledo Municipal Court, Judge Timothy Kuhlman scheduled a preliminary hearing for April 21.

According to Toledo police, the young victim was taken from in front of her South Toledo home about 6 p.m. March 3, and was missing for more than 22 hours before she was found walking near Jamison’s apartment. Jamison is being held in the Lucas County jail.
