East Toledo house damaged by arson
Arson late Sunday damaged a vacant house in East Toledo, authorities said.
Fire crews arrived about 11:56 p.m. and saw flames coming from a house at 1702 Liberty St. Firefighters had the blaze under control within 20 minutes, according to Toledo fire department records.
The fire at the single-story wood-frame house was ruled intentionally set, according to the fire department. Damage estimates were unavailable.
The Lucas County Auditor’s Web site lists Carolyn Gray as the owner of the house, built in 1907.
