Toledo police are looking for a teenage serial shooter.
Aaron Hayes, 17, is wanted for a shooting in the 3000 block of Fulton Street on March 17, is the suspect in a March 14 shooting at Ashland Avenue and West Bancroft Street, and is the suspect in a shooting in the 600 block of Spring Street on Aug. 10.
He is also a possible suspect in several other shootings, said Toledo police Sgt. Tim Noble.
The teen is not a known gang member, the sergeant said.
“He’s a dangerous individual that we would like to get off the streets,” Sergeant Noble said.
The shootings tend to be the result of minor arguments, and the “erratic behavior,” as described to police by family members, possibly stems from “traumatic experiences in his life.”
Police think the teen is somewhere in the city’s north end where he has family members.
He is a black male, about 5 feet, 5 inches, and weighs 170 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
