Sheriff: Man attacked in Weston

WESTON, Ohio -- A Bowling Green man reportedly was assaulted by several people overnight on a street in this Wood County village, authorities said.

A 33-year-old man was walking along the 20400 block of Brooke Lane about 2:50 a.m. Saturday when he was attacked by several suspects wearing dark clothing who then fled the area on foot, according to a release from the Wood County Sheriff.

The victim, whose name was not released, was treated and released from Wood County Hospital, the sheriff's report stated.

The incident is under investigation.
