The Toledo Police Department is to hold its fourth abandoned and forfeited vehicle auction of the year Saturday, with about 80 for sale.
The auction starts at 11 a.m. at the police impound lot at 198 Dura Ave. The vehicles -- including cars, trucks, and motorcycles -- will be sold as is, without warranty, and most will have a salvage title, according to police. Vehicles are listed on toledopolice.com.
Cash and checks are the only forms of accepted payment. Cash will allow release of the title at the end of the auction. Those paying by check will receive their title by mail about four weeks later.
Bidding registration is required at the auctioneer's trailer, beginning at 9 a.m. Photo identification is required. Information: 419-245-3399.
