Toledo police have identified the second suspect in an armed robbery that resulted in the shooting death of another suspect.

Police are looking for Joseph R. Hunter, 25, of Toledo, who they say robbed Express Carryout, 1920 Mulberry St., on Nov. 21.

Lamar Allen, 25, went into the store with Hunter about 9:45 a.m., but was shot and killed by the store clerk.

Police have issued a warrant for Hunter, who is charged with robbery. He is also wanted on warrants for dangerous drugs, trespassing, and littering, police said.

The department’s spokesman Sgt. Joe Heffernan said police were able to identify Hunter through tips and leads from the community.

Anyone with information on Hunter’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
