B.G. man suffers injury after being hit by truck

BOWLING GREEN — A Bowling Green man was seriously injured after he and another man were struck by a truck Thursday morning.

Austin Morrison, 22, was taken by helicopter to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where he was listed in serious condition late Thursday, according to a hospital spokesman.

Mr. Morrison and Michael Orange, 39, of Bowling Green, were crossing the 100 block of North Main Street on foot about 12:13 a.m. when they were hit by a truck, driven by Dodolfo Telles, 59, of Weston, Ohio.

Mr. Orange was taken to Wood County Hospital, police said. A hospital spokesman said Mr. Orange was treated and released.The crash is under investigation.
