Fire crews battle Williams Co. blaze

EDON, Ohio — Area fire crews were fighting a house fire Monday morning off U.S. 20 near Williams County Road 150, about a mile east of the state line, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

There were no reported injuries, according to the patrol’s Bowling Green post.

Occupants had escaped unhurt by the time state troopers arrived at the scene about 8:10 a.m. to assist fire crews, the patrol said.

The fire occurred about eight miles north of Edon, which is about 60 miles west of Toledo.
