TECUMSEH, Mich. — City police are asking the public to help them identify the man they say is responsible for two armed robberies.

Police describe the man as white, about 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a slim build, and between 30 and 40 years old.

The first robbery was Thursday at about 9 p.m. at the Fabricare Laundromat, 115 Herrick Park Dr. The second robbery was reported on Saturday, just after 5 p.m., at Modish Hair and Nail Salon, 208 E. Chicago Blvd.

In each incident the man went into the business and showed a knife and demanded money from employees, authorities said.

He got away with an undetermined amount of cash in each robbery.

During the first robbery, the man wore a stocking cap, a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and dark colored gloves. In the second robbery he wore a dark stocking cap, a dark colored jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans, Tecumseh police said.

The man was seen leaving the scene of the Jan. 21 robbery in a “newer” dark-colored full-size extended cab Chevy pick-up.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 517-266-6161 or 877-276-8477.
