Police investigate Lima woman’s death

LIMA, Ohio — Police are investigating the death of a woman found Friday in her Lima home after officers forced entry.

She was identified as Teresa Ann Burge, 43. An autopsy will be conducted by the Lucas County coroner’s office to determine cause of death.

Det. Scott Leland said that police were called to a house about 8:55 a.m. in the 1100 block of Holmes Avenue to investigate a death there. Officers went in after they did not receive an answer. Det. Leland would not say who called police.

Police ask anyone with more information to call Detective Leland or the on-duty police supervisor.
