Jane Campos arrested in death of Jeffrey Fitzpatrick, 50.
An East Toledo couple were arguing Saturday when the woman stabbed her boyfriend, who died shortly after emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene, police said.
Jane Campos, 45, called 911 at about 7:48 p.m. Saturday and reported her boyfriend, Jeffrey Fitzpatrick, 50, was not breathing at their residence at 1319 Greenwood Ave. No. 1, said Toledo police Sgt. Joe Heffernan.
Police questioned her about his fatal chest wound, and she was arrested and booked for murder at the Lucas County Corrections Center.
“The two were living together,” Sergeant Heffernan said. “We have enough to charge her with the murder.”
Sgt. Heffernan said he did not know what they were arguing about or what kind of knife was used.
