Man shot in East Toledo

A man was shot at his East Toledo home early Wednesday by an intruder who fled, authorities said.

Brian Thebeau, 19, was taken to an area hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, Toledo police said.

Someone kicked in the rear door of the residence in the 500 block of Clark Street about 2:15 a.m., shot Mr. Thebeau, and fled, police said.

There was no word of arrests.
