Police look for motorist who struck man

BOWLING GREEN — Police are seeking information on a weekend hit-skip accident near Bowling Green State University.

Police say that a man was hit by a black or silver sport-utiliy vehicle as he crossed Wooster Street to the east side of Main Street, at about 1:48 a.m. Sunday. The man was hit by the vehicle’s side-view mirror, knocking him to the ground, police said.

The vehicle continued eastbound on Wooster; the man, whose name was not released, was taken to Wood County Hospital for treatment.
