Police serve 29 warrants in memorial sweep
Toledo police executed 29 search warrants in a weekend sweep held annually in honor of slain Officer Keith Dressel.
Operation Dirty Boy netted 51 arrests of people who were served with warrants on 53 felonies and 40 misdemeanors.
Police also said they seized more than $30,000 in drugs, including marijuana, heroin, and cocaine, and four guns.
The effort was the fourth sweep held in honor of Detective Dressel since his Feb. 21, 2007, shooting death.
