Man injured in S. Toledo shooting

Later, house where shooting occurred catches fire

Toledo police said a man was shot in the hip late Tuesday outside a South Toledo home during a fight.

Police and rescue crews responded about 9:50 p.m. to 1232 Colburn Street near Hiett Avenue, although rescue crews could not locate a victim and did not transport anyone. Police said one of the men involved was shot at least once in the hip and was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center by an individual.

The gunman fled, although police said they have a lead on the suspect, although they have not released the person's name.

This morning, the house where that shooting occurred caught on fire, causing heavy damage to the structure.
