Bond set at $75,000 for man accused in central Toledo shooting

BLADE STAFF

A Toledo man is being held in the Lucas County jail, accused of shooting another man in the central city last week.

Dale Griffin, 24, of 2237 Putnam St., is charged with one count of felonious assault and was ordered to be held in lieu of a $75,000 bond following an arraignment this morning in Toledo Municipal Court.

Griffin was arrested Tuesday for allegedly shooting Terrell Anderson, 28, June 20 on Ottawa Drive in central Toledo.

Anderson was one of nine people shot — two of them fatally — from Tuesday night through Wednesday last week.

Griffin appears to be a relative of Tremayne Griffin, 22, who, last month, was sentenced to almost 21 years in prison in Lucas County Common Pleas Court for shooting four people in two incidents.
