Man wanted for Monroe County homicide turns himself in

MONROE — A man wanted for a weekend homicide in Bedford Township turned himself in to the Monroe Country Sheriff’s Office Monday.

Alexander Robert Tucker, 25, was named a suspect for the homicide by Monroe County officials after Darrin M. Flynn, 43, was found with fatal stab wounds at a Bedford Township trailer park at 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

Mr. Flynn, a Toledo native, died later at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Preliminary investigation revealed Mr. Flynn was at a residence in North Town Meadows Manufactured Home Community when he was stabbed repeatedly. Mr. Flynn exited the residence and collapsed on the deck, where he was found unconscious by police.

Mr. Tucker, of Erie, Mi., is currently being held in the Monroe Country Jail. His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday in Monroe County District Court.
