Woman found deceased inside home is identified

The Toledo woman found dead inside her home Tuesday night has been identified as Jill Adix.

Ms. Adix was found inside her Mettler Street home about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday when a home health care worker came to check on her. When the care worker arrived, they found a boy leaving the home, carrying a television.

Lucas County Coroner Dr. James Patrick has said it’s unclear if the woman died before or during the burglary. There were no signs of trauma on the woman.

An autopsy is scheduled for today.
