Lake Township police arrest trio on drug charges

BOWLING GREEN -- Three Indiana men are being held in the Wood County jail after being arrested by Lake Township police for having about 700 pounds of marijuana.

Klaus Grose, 32, and Timothy Kierpiec, 53, of Goshen, Ind., are each being held in the jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond. They are charged with possession of drugs. Police said the men could face additional charges.

Police also reported arresting and charging a third man with the same charges, but there was no information about him in Perrysburg Municipal Court nor was in the Wood County jail today.

Police said the men were arrested Wednesday at a Super 8 Motel in the township after a two-day investigation. The drugs, with a reported street value of $850,000, were found in a Chrysler Pacifica, police said.
