Man freed from concrete truck
Toledo fire crews today freed a man after he was caught in a concrete truck that took down power lines, officials said.
The incident was reported at 12:47 p.m. today in the 1400 block of Colburn Street in South Toledo.
Toledo fire Lt. Matthew Hertzfeld said the concrete mixer hit three electrical drops to homes and that the fire department secured the scene until Toledo Edison crews arrived and disconnected service, allowing the driver to get out. He was not hurt.
Lieutenant Hertzfeld did not know the name of the driver or the company that was delivering the concrete.
