2 sought in West Toledo bank heist
Toledo police are looking for a man who robbed a Charter One bank and the accomplice who drove the getaway car.
A man wearing all-black clothing entered the bank at 5911 Lewis Ave. at 11:51 a.m. Friday and demanded money from a teller, according to a report from the FBI.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a car driven by another man.
Police found the abandoned car, which officers said had been reported stolen. Authorities did not provide a description of the vehicle.
The suspect in the bank robbery is described as black, 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall or a bit shorter, and 145 to 160 pounds.
Authorities did not say if the robber had a weapon, and they could describe the driver only as black.
